Lately, low-cost sports cameras are proliferating. On this occasion, we bring one of the brand WiMiUs, with some specifications on the role quite decent. Are we going to see what it’s like?
First, let’s take a look at the specs:

As you can see, it looks good. In addition to recording in 4K, it draws attention to the recording mode in VGA to FPS, which will allow us to take curious videos.
As usual, it comes with a lot of accessories, such as helmet mounts, stand to place on a stick/tube (ideal for the handlebar of the bike, or to put it on the tip of a tube) etc, etc …
It also includes double 1000mah batteries, which is always to be appreciated, a wipe for cleaning, and a carrying bag.
Here you can see some unboxing images below:
This is the box, once taken from the Amazon box, quite well as you see, color and showing the camera in the foreground:
On one side, we can see all the accessories it contains:
Once the cover is taken out, we will see two departments, one where the camera is, and another, closed, where all the accessories come from:
And once opened, we see that it brings all this:
As an example, I put a video I recorded to 4K (which I had to convert to 1080 for problems with my PC) that will be worth as an idea of how they look with that frame rate:
Here is a video of parties, with very high sound, very fast movements (the smoke exit of gunpowder) recorded at 1080p@60fps:
It also has another very cool thing, it is that we can control the camera from our phone, using the WiFi and the WiMiUs Cam Pro app. Via the app, we will have a view of what the camera “sees”, being able to take photos and videos at a distance:
We will also be able to choose the video resolution and photo sizes:
It is a good option if you want to go into the world of these cameras, this tiny WiMiUS L1 camera record well and comes with everything you need.
Do not expect the quality of a GoPro of $500, nor compete with it, but if it is true that, for this price, is a very good option.
